Regular
You can brake/slow down. Start with 3 lives (max 4). Checkpoints restore one life each. |

Hard
Fewer checkpoints. Start with 3 lives (max 3). Checkpoints do not restore lives. |
|
Anguish
Death is permanent. Restart the stage after dying. |
|
Practice
Same ruleset as Regular, but start with 10 lives (max 10). Checkpoints function normally. |
